Senior Accountant

Description:

Yummy Junction is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Head Office team in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a finance professional with a strong background in the food and beverage industry who can manage accounting operations, maintain financial accuracy, and support business decision-making.

The successful candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, reconciliations, month-end closing activities, and overseeing key accounting functions. The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and experience with financial processes specific to the F&B sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate financial reports and ensure timely completion of month-end closing activities.

• Perform account reconciliations and maintain the accuracy of financial records.

• Monitor food costing, inventory management, and cash flow reporting.

• Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial procedures.

• Utilize accounting software to manage daily financial transactions and reporting.

• Support the finance team with financial analysis and operational accounting activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the F&B finance sector.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.

• Experience in food costing, inventory management, and cash flow reporting.

• Proficiency in accounting software; experience with ME Accounting Software is an advantage.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
