Senior Accountant

Description:

Design Concepts Global is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its team in the UAE. This opportunity is ideal for finance professionals with a solid background in the Construction or Fit-Out industry and a strong understanding of UAE accounting practices.

The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, manage accounting operations, support budgeting and audits, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Manage the General Ledger, reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and aging reports.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Support internal and external audits while ensuring accounting compliance.

• Assist with UAE VAT calculations, filings, cash flow monitoring, and financial process improvements.

• Supervise junior accounting staff and maintain accurate financial records.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Accountant or Senior Accountant.

• Mandatory experience in UAE Construction or Fit-Out companies.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, General Ledger, AP/AR, budgeting, and reconciliations.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting compliance.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
