Senior Accountant

Description:

ETST, part of ECCF Group, is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support its industrial engineering and metal contracting operations in the United Arab Emirates. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in manufacturing, contracting, and financial management.

The successful candidate will oversee key accounting functions, including cost accounting, project accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE tax regulations. The role also requires experience managing banking instruments and supporting financial operations within engineering or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage cost accounting and project accounting activities.

• Prepare accurate financial reports and maintain accounting records.

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Handle letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other banking instruments.

• Support financial planning and reporting using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Assist in maintaining efficient financial controls across business operations.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of accounting experience in manufacturing and contracting.

• Strong experience in cost accounting, project accounting, and financial reporting.

• Knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.

• Experience handling letters of credit, bank guarantees, and other banking instruments.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Strong ERP system and Microsoft Excel skills.

• Experience in the UAE construction or engineering sector is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of:

 • Cost accounting and project accounting.

 • Financial reporting, UAE VAT, and Corporate Tax.
