Senior Accountant

Description:

Senior Accountant responsibilities include reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing month-end close procedures. A successful Senior Accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts.

Job Accountabilities

• flow forecast, daily bank statement, and recording client receipts.
• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
• You will be required to perform general accounting tasks required for the month end close, including journal entries, accrual and prepaid schedules, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Support the tax and audit process, prepare VAT analysis and monthly/ quarterly filing.
• Assist with various Ad-hoc project work as required.
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
• Prepare financial statements and produce budget according to schedule
• Excellent command over verbal and written English communication skills.
• Extremely organized with strong multi-tasking and management skills.

Qualifications & Education

Bachelors Degree/Masters

Experience

Minimum 5-10 years experience in construction knowledge in ERP, tally, etc.
