Description:
As Senior Business Development Manager | E-commerce Acquisitions (UAE Market) you will combine strategic business development with hands-on closing.
You will identify, nurture, and convert entrepreneurs, operators, and investors who are interested in acquiring e-commerce businesses from our portfolio. You will manage the full commercial cycle, from first relationship to signed acquisition agreement, on deals ranging from 10,000 to 100,000 USD.
This role blends relationship building, pipeline creation, and serious commercial conversations around valuations, ROI, and risk. You are expected to think in terms of market building, not just individual deals.
You will work closely with the founders and the acquisitions team and act as one of the key faces of Ecomma toward buyers in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage a buyer pipeline for e-commerce acquisitions in the UAE and surrounding markets
- Run discovery conversations to understand buyer strategy, capital, risk appetite, and operational capabilities
- Map buyer segments, identify high-potential relationships, and structure outreach and follow-up plans
- Present suitable e-commerce brands and explain performance, risks, and growth opportunities
- Lead prospects through a full acquisition journey: discovery, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Coordinate internally to provide detailed P and L, traffic, operational data, and documentation
- Maintain structured pipeline management in the CRM with accurate forecasting
- Provide feedback to leadership on market dynamics, buyer demand, and opportunities for new offerings
- Support creation of offers, LOIs, and deal execution together with acquisitions, finance, and legal
- Help build and refine the commercial playbook for buyer development and regional expansion
What we are looking for
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales in a consultative, high ticket environment
- Experience with deal sizes in the 10,000 to 100,000 USD range
- Strong relationship building skills combined with disciplined follow-up and pipeline management
- Comfort with financial discussions and ability to translate numbers into clear business impact
- Strategic mindset, able to think beyond single deals and build a repeatable buyer network
- Self-driven, structured, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy
- Based in Dubai, UAE, or willing to relocate in the short term
- Bonus: background in investments, M and A, private equity, brokerage, or e-commerce
