Description:
The Archer Senior Consultant provides technical leadership, architectural guidance, and consultative expertise across complex ArcherIRM engagements. The role requires strong solution design capability, enterprise-level consulting skills, and the ability to lead multi-phase, multi-workstream GRC implementations. The Senior Consultant ensures high-quality delivery aligned with Archer standards, methodologies, and client objectives, while contributing to pre-sales, solutioning, documentation, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture
- Provides technical and consultative leadership across multiple, complex ArcherIRM engagements.
- Leads the creation of technical architectural designs, implementation strategies, and delivery plans.
- Validates business requirements, develops conceptual and logical solution architectures, and ensures alignment with Archer best practices.
- Performs limited prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility analysis to validate solution proposals.
Pre-Sales & Proposal Support
- Acts as a technical expert in pre-sales meetings, client workshops, and solution presentations.
- Assists in creating detailed proposals, solution scopes, ROM estimates, and delivery models that address evolving client requirements.
- Clearly articulates solution options, risks, integration considerations, and delivery assumptions to support sales cycles.
Delivery Execution
- Participates in or leads installation, configuration, customization, and deployment activities for Archer solutions.
- Works on complex, multi-workstream projects, managing dependencies and cross-team coordination.
- Authors key deliverables including design documents, data models, workflow specifications, migration plans, test plans, and deployment guides.
- Ensures delivery adheres to approved methodology, SOW, project plan, and margin expectations.
Project & Team Leadership
- Supervises, mentors, and guides project team members (consultants, developers, analysts).
- Assigns and reviews work packets, ensuring consistency and quality across workstreams.
- Leads technical quality assurance activities, including design review, configuration review, code review, and performance optimization assessments.
- Applies correct escalation paths and ensures adherence to governance, change control, and communication processes.
Testing, Validation & Issue Resolution
- Supports creation of testing processes, scripts, and acceptance criteria.
- Conducts technical QA, code reviews, and certification of solution components.
- Acts as the primary escalation point for technical questions and issue resolution during UAT and post-go-live.
- Ensures delivered solution aligns with business requirements and performance expectations.
Client Engagement & Strategy
- Understands the client’s business model, regulatory environment, and long-term objectives.
- Advises clients on GRC strategy, process maturity, and optimization opportunities within ArcherIRM.
- Helps clients interpret complex data, evaluate options, and select the right functional and technical approach.
- Ensures all documentation and deliverables maintain high-quality, logical structure, and clarity to drive client satisfaction.
Operational Excellence
- Produces high-quality work products, designs, and documentation with minimal oversight.
- Independently analyzes large volumes of requirements, data, and configuration details to recommend optimal solutions.
- Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance methodology, accelerators, and delivery standards.
Travel
- Understands that travel to client sites may be required for extended periods based on project demands (onsite workshops, UAT, go-live, executive sessions).
