Senior Consultant

Description:

The Senior Consultant role is a part-time hybrid position based in the United Arab Emirates, with a mix of on-site client work and remote work from home. The Senior Consultant will lead and deliver management consultancy and business advisory engagements, including diagnostic reviews, process improvements, and performance optimization projects. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial and operational data, preparing management reports, developing recommendations, and presenting findings to client leadership. The role involves supporting accounting and bookkeeping oversight, advising on tax and regulatory compliance, and contributing to the design and implementation of internal controls and business processes. The Senior Consultant will collaborate with clients and internal teams, mentor junior staff where required, and help expand the firm’s service offerings and client relationships.
Qualifications

• Strong management consultancy and business advisory skills, including diagnostic analysis, problem-solving, and strategy formulation.
• Solid accounting and bookkeeping capabilities, with experience in financial reporting, analysis, and support for month-end and year-end closing.
• Knowledge of tax consultancy and regulatory compliance, ideally within the UAE and GCC region, including VAT and related regulations.
• Experience improving business processes and internal controls, with the ability to design, document, and implement efficient workflows.
• Proficiency in using accounting and financial management software, spreadsheets, and data analytics tools for reporting and insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and present to senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated client management skills, including relationship-building, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to work in a hybrid on-site/remote setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CMA are highly beneficial.
• Relevant experience in consulting, professional services, or corporate finance, preferably in the UAE or regional markets.
