Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Center Consultant (ATD Certified) to lead the design and development of data center infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong commercial judgment, and the ability to align data center solutions with client objectives and defined financial parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of high-performance data center solutions that meet clients' specific requirements, while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with the Pre-Sales team to develop technical proposals, project scopes, and solution architecture.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and project proposals, covering all components such as equipment, installation, and maintenance.
- Build and maintain relationships with principal vendors and suppliers to negotiate favourable pricing, ensure timely delivery, and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical consultation, and develop customized solutions that meet their objectives.
- Assist the Sales team by delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Ensure solution compliance with design principles, operational efficiency, scalability, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or a related technical field) is required.
- Over 8 years of experience in data center infrastructure design, planning, and operations.
- Must be ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) certified.
- CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of core data center components such as power, cooling, security, and networking.
- Hands-on experience with data center management tools and software.
- Excellent client-facing abilities, strong commercial acumen, and problem-solving skills, with the capability to articulate technical information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
