Senior Elv Consultant

Description:

Deployed Technologies (DTECH), a US based Hospitality Technology Consulting firm is looking for highly skilled professionals in the field of ELV to join the Middle East & Africa regional team based in Dubai as a Senior ELV Design Engineer.

Required qualifications and skills.

· Minimum 8 years of working experience in a similar capacity with Middle Eastern projects experience (Mixed used developments, luxury hotels, luxury condominiums etc.).

· Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.

· Familiarity with hospitality technologies is highly desirable.

· Through knowledge of regional ELV-related design standards and authority submission requirements (SIRA certification is an added value).

· Proven track record in preparing technical reports, specifications, and client presentations.

· Experience in working with international multi-disciplinary consultants.

· Familiarity with Revit, BIM, and CAD applications.

Roles and Responsibilities.

· Lead the design process on several projects depending on size, type, and complexity.

· Design and develop all Extra Low Voltage systems such as;

Access Control System, Video Surveillance (CCTV), Fire Detection and Alarm, Emergency / Exit Lighting, Guest Room Automation, Telephony, Passive and Active network infrastructure, Background and Foreground music, Meeting and Banquet room related AV Infrastructures, IPTV and related infrastructures, Data centers and other related ELV spaces.

· Production of all required documents.

· Implement the organization’s standards in the design process.

· Perform related calculations and produce required documentation.

· Attend all coordination and progress meetings with relevant stakeholders.

· Perform other duties as assigned by the HOD and/or Project Manager/ Director.

· Communication with Design teams, Design resources, Clients, and Project managers.

· Ensure efficient coordination occurs with other disciplines, such as Architecture, Interior design, and MEP to capture and validate all requirements.
