Description:
We are searching for an experienced Senior Estimation Engineer to join our UAE team and lead cost-estimating efforts for electrical and infrastructure projects. This senior role requires a seasoned estimator who can convert drawings and specifications into accurate, competitive budgets and tender submissions for medium to large-scale works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and quantity take-offs for electrical and infrastructure scopes.
- Review and interpret project drawings, specifications and technical documents to identify scope and pricing drivers.
- Liaise with procurement and engineering teams to source accurate material and subcontractor pricing.
- Evaluate, compare and negotiate subcontractor quotations and proposals.
- Support the tendering process by compiling commercial packages, risk registers and contingency analyses.
- Assist in preparing project budgets, cost breakdowns, and pricing justifications for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- At least 10 years of dedicated estimation experience in electrical and infrastructure projects.
- Strong familiarity with local market rates, supply-chain behavior and industry standards in the UAE.
- Proficient in industry estimation software and confident with MS Office (Excel-based take-offs and reporting).
- Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Currently based in Dubai or willing to relocate to the UAE.
