Description:
We are seeking a Senior HSE Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead Health, Safety, and Environmental initiatives across our real estate development projects. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and international best practices, while fostering a strong safety culture across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HSE Leadership: Develop and execute HSE plans aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements.
- Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Compliance Assurance: Monitor and enforce adherence to local and international HSE laws and standards.
- Training & Development: Lead HSE training programs to enhance team competency and awareness.
- Incident Investigation: Oversee the investigation of accidents and near-misses, implementing corrective actions.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate HSE records and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in HSE performance across projects.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in HSE roles within the UAE real estate or construction sector.
- Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in HSE management software and MS Office Suite.
