Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and execute HR functions focused on employee relations, performance management, company culture, HR policies, and employee engagement. This role is pivotal in fostering a vibrant, high-performing workplace while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global HR best practices.
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Relations & Culture
- Act as the primary HR point of contact for all employee-related matters, ensuring a positive and engaging work environment.
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.
- Plan and execute company events, team-building activities, and social initiatives, including corporate celebrations, holiday parties, and wellness programs.
- Mediate and resolve conflicts, fostering a collaborative and respectful workplace.
- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and HR pulse checks.
Performance Management & Development
- Oversee the performance appraisal process, ensuring clear goal-setting and constructive feedback mechanisms.
- Work closely with department heads to implement employee development plans and career progression frameworks.
- Identify skills gaps and oversee learning & development programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives.
HR Policies & Compliance
- Review, update, and enforce HR policies in alignment with UAE labor laws and global best practices.
- Ensure legal compliance in employee relations, benefits administration, and workplace policies.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions in line with company guidelines.
Compensation, Benefits & Employee Well-Being
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with salary structures and benefits policies.
- Monitor market trends to recommend competitive benefits packages and employee incentives.
- Manage leave policies, ensuring seamless tracking and employee support.
- Implement initiatives focused on employee wellness, including mental health support and work-life balance programs.
Workforce Planning & Organizational Development
- Support leadership in workforce planning, ensuring HR strategies align with business objectives.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, well-being, and workplace efficiency.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to maintain a progressive work environment.
Employee Engagement & Internal Events
- Organize company-wide events, including holiday parties, team retreats, milestone celebrations, and themed office days.
- Oversee internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Foster a fun, dynamic work environment that reflects Luna PR’s brand and values.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) is a plus.
- 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in PR, media, fintech, or technology industries.
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in employee relations, culture-building, and HR policy development.
- Experience in event planning and corporate engagement activities.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and build relationships.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
