Hiring Senior Instrumentation Engineer –4 nos. (Duration 6 month)
Responsibilities:
- Participates as a team member in a specific phase of a broad engineering assignment.
- Directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
- Undertake activities and tasks assigned by the Lead Engineer with minimal or no supervision and guidance. These will typically comprise of:
- Preparation, checking and approval of philosophies, specifications, design
- drawings, studies, requisitions, technical evaluations and general
- Instrumentation and control system documentation.
- Review, checking and approval of third-party supplier drawings and
- Documentation for all types of instrumentation and control system equipment.
- Developing enquiry documentation including MTOs and man-hour estimates.
- Co-ordination meetings and liaison with third parties including clients and suppliers.
- Inspection, checking and witness testing of instrumentation and control system equipment at suppliers’ works as necessary.
- Engineering support during construction and commissioning phase activities.
- Fully coherent in all international codes and standards
- Participate in site visits, project review meetings, design reviews and other workshops as required.
- Participation in design reviews, value engineering / safety workshops
- Ensuring technical integrity of the instrument deliverables for the project. Ensure compliance with the work scope and with applicable international standards.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Engineering Degree in a relevant discipline (Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control)
- Minimum 8-10 years Instrumentation & Control engineering experience in oil and gas projects (with a minimum of 5 years in UAE, preferred) Experience FEED, Detail design and EPC projects.
- Good knowledge of discipline design/engineering with sufficient experience in different discipline areas · Communication skill (excellent command on both spoken and written English)
