Senior Interior Designer job opportunity

This position is based in Abu Dhabi, please don’t apply unless you are willing to work in Abu Dhabi.

The role holder will be working under the direct guidance of Head of Projects and managing a team of Jr. Designer, visualizer and draftsman.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and present design concepts, design development and tender packages.
• Prepare and participate in design presentations
• Work with the interior design team to provide design solution
• Draw up furniture plans/layouts and elevations
• Select furniture, materials, finishes, lighting, and accessories while keeping within budget.
• Specify fixed finishes schedule, sanitary, ironmongery, lighting, etc.
• Select and prepare mood boards, sample boards, material boards for clients’ approval.
• Contact suppliers for different quotations
• Monitor quality of execution on site and promptly provide solutions/alternatives for problems encountered on site.

Required qualification and skills:

• Bachelor degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 10 years minimum of experience working for reputable ID consultants, out of which minimum 5 years in UAE.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3Ds Max, Power Point, Microsoft Office and other design programs
