Senior Internal Auditor

Crowe, a globally recognized leader in audit, tax, advisory, and risk services, is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to join their team at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas of improvement, and ensuring regulatory and policy compliance. The position offers significant exposure to auditing standards, financial reporting, and operational reviews in a structured and professional work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and perform risk-based internal audits across various departments and functions.

• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, processes, and procedures in alignment with company goals and industry standards.

• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risk assessments, and practical recommendations for improvements.

• Collaborate with department heads to discuss audit outcomes and support the implementation of corrective actions.

• Assist in the development of annual audit plans based on risk assessments and business priorities.

• Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IIA standards and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Continuously update knowledge of internal auditing standards, best practices, and changes in the regulatory environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant audit experience; experience in financial services is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, CA, or ACCA are strongly preferred.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks and controls effectively.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings and influence stakeholders.

• High level of integrity, independence, and professionalism.
