Senior Legal Consultant

Description:

Amal Khamis Advocates & Legal Consultants is expanding. We’re looking for a highly experienced Legal Consultant with a minimum of 5 years’ UAE-based practice to join our busy dispute-resolution team.

What you’ll do

• Represent clients in arbitration matters in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, including attending hearings conducted in English.
• Draft and review arbitration requests, statements of claim/defence, and legal memoranda in both English and Arabic.
• Handle a broad portfolio of criminal, civil, real-estate, and commercial cases before UAE courts and tribunals.
• Prepare all pleadings, briefs, appeals, and petitions, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and full compliance with UAE laws and procedure.

What we’re looking for

• Fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
• At least 5 years of UAE experience advising on contentious matters.
• Proven track record in arbitration advocacy (DIAC, ADCCAC, or similar).
• Strong drafting skills and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical advice.
