Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Nottingham Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineers in Dubai.

The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for

• Prepare the scope of work and the project deliverables.
• Calculation of preliminary utility loads for coordination.
• Calculation of preliminary water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads for utility coordination.
• Prepare detailed design drawings for mechanical systems such as (HVAC, Smoke Management, Public

Health, Fire protection system, BMS, Irrigation, Swimming Pool, Gas .....).

• Prepare technical specifications, schedules and design development reports.
• Coordinating work with other members of the project team.
• Ensuring project work are carried out within agreed deadlines and within budget.
• Support the project submittals and No Objection Certificates (NOC) process to the relevant Authorities.
• Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor'sa degree in Mechanical Engineering Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills
• +8 Experience in consulting company
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM softwares
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
