Description:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (HVAC) with at least 12 years of UAE experience in Engineering Consultancy. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and proficiency in client interaction, report preparation, and project management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
- Design and integrate plumbing and firefighting systems as part of multidisciplinary projects.
- Supervise and mentor a team of MEP engineers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
- Serve as the primary technical lead, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants.
- Attend client meetings to gather project requirements, provide technical guidance, and present design solutions.
- Address client feedback to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports, technical documentation, and design submissions.
- Knowledge and hands on Revit and CAD software to review, adjust, and improve MEP designs while guiding and supporting the design team.
- Ensure all designs comply with UAE /KSA authority regulations, or other international standards.
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies for approvals and compliance checks.
- Stay updated on advancements in HVAC design and promote innovative tools and practices within the team to enhance efficiency and quality.
This role demands a proven ability to lead teams, create reports, and effectively engage with clients.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional Experience:
- At least 12+ years of experience in the UAE, specifically in an engineering consultancy environment(commercial, hospitality, high-rise, and mixed-use projects)
- Proven experience leading design projects in commercial, hospitality, high rise and mixed-use sectors
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC system design and related disciplines.
- Strong understanding of local authority regulations in Abu Dhabi.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
