Description:
We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in robotics, military vehicles, industrial machinery, or heavy-duty mechanical systems to join our R&D and production team.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Join our mechanical design and development of our robotic platforms.
- Design structural components, chassis systems, drive systems, gearboxes, cooling systems, and water-handling components.
- Analyze loads, torque, heat, and stress for extreme firefighting environments
- Perform 3D CAD modeling and prepare manufacturing drawings.
- Work closely with electrical and software teams to integrate motors, sensors, water monitors , tracks, and control systems.
- Support prototype fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
- Evaluate materials, suppliers, and fabrication techniques (welding, laser cutting, bending, machining, coating, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.
🎓 Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- 7+ years experience in mechanical design of robotics, military Vehicles, heavy equipment, machinery, defense systems, or industrial vehicles.
- Excellent proficiency in inventor or SolidWorks , and mechanical calculations (torque, gear ratio, load, thermal, stress).
- Experience with tracked robots, electric motors, gearboxes, or mobile robotics systems is a big advantage.
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and design-for-production.
- Ability to work in fast-paced R&D and production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and passion for innovation.
