Description:
As an Azure Synapse and Data Warehouse Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data warehousing solutions using Microsoft's Azure Synapse Analytics platform. Your expertise will be crucial in helping clients or your organization make the most of their data for analytical and business intelligence purposes.
Main Duties :
- Solution Design: Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand their data requirements and design data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse. Create data models, data integration, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, and define architecture best practices.
- Implementation: Implement end-to-end data warehousing solutions, including setting up data pipelines, configuring data storage, managing data security and access controls, and ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Query Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize SQL queries to achieve high-performance analytics and reporting. Identify bottlenecks, optimize data distribution, and implement indexing strategies for improved query response times.
- Data Transformation: Design and implement ETL processes to transform raw data into a format suitable for analysis. Utilize Azure Synapse tools for data ingestion, transformation, and integration from various sources.
- Data Modelling: Develop and maintain data models that support efficient querying and reporting. Ensure that the data structures align with business requirements and enable easy access to insights.
- Data Security and Compliance: Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with data protection regulations (such as GDPR). Stay updated with Azure security features and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of data warehouse queries and data processing jobs. Proactively identify performance issues, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and propose optimizations.
- Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation for architecture, data flow, ETL processes, and data models. Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams or clients.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with the latest developments in Azure Synapse Analytics and related technologies. Attend workshops, conferences, and training to enhance your expertise.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Excellent English Verbal Communication skills
- Experience: 5-8 Years

- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience designing and implementing data warehousing solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modelling, ETL processes, and query optimization.
- Worked on configuring Open AI and basis use cases
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics) are a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing technology landscapes and work in dynamic environments.
