Hiring Senior Procurement Engineer
A leading player in the construction and infrastructure sector, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibitlies:
- Lead the procurement process for construction, road, and infrastructure projects from initiation to contract award.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring a competitive and cost-effective procurement strategy.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, emphasizing quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide procurement support.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers to ensure a reliable and diverse vendor base.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize the procurement function.
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Engineer in the UAE, specifically in construction, road, and infrastructure projects.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage and optimize supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and UAE market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards.
