Senior Purchase Officer

Description:

Dabur is seeking an experienced Senior Purchase Officer to manage end-to-end raw material procurement operations in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The role requires a procurement professional who can ensure smooth supply chain operations, manage supplier relationships, and support uninterrupted production activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in raw material sourcing, supplier negotiations, and procurement processes, preferably within the personal care industry. The selected professional will work closely with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to maintain efficient purchasing operations and avoid stock shortages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials.

• Execute purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required materials.

• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable terms.

• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.

• Coordinate with Planning, Production, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.

• Monitor inventory requirements and prevent production delays caused by stock shortages.

• Maintain procurement records and update purchasing systems.

Requirements:

• 6–7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.

• Previous experience in the personal care industry is highly preferred.

• Hands-on experience with raw material sourcing and supplier management.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems.
