Senior Quantity Surveyor – Road and Infrastructure
Location: RAK, New Project Al Hamra
Job Description:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong focus on road and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the UAE, managing costs, and delivering value for large-scale, complex road and infrastructure initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all costs relating to road and infrastructure projects, from initial calculations to final figures.
- Minimize project costs and enhance value for money while maintaining required standards and quality.
- Carry out feasibility studies to estimate materials, time, and labor costs.
- Prepare, negotiate, and analyze costs for tenders and contracts.
- Coordinate with site managers and planners on project progress and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Measure and value work done on site.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to establish the quality and cost of materials required to complete projects.
- Use cost management tools to minimize costs and track project progress.
- Prepare detailed reports providing analysis of project progress and cost estimates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of quantity surveying experience, specifically within the road and infrastructure sector in the UAE.
- Proficiency in computer software relating to quantity surveying, cost management, and project planning.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles specific to infrastructure and road industry.
- Proven track record of managing all costs concerning road and infrastructure projects.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Fluency in English is required.
