Senior Sales Engineer

Description:

We are currently hiring a Senior Sales Engineer for our operations in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within Oil & Gas, Power, Water, and Petrochemical sectors
• Lead generation, networking, and building long-term client relationships
• Handle PQ & Vendor registrations and participate in exhibitions and trade fairs
• Provide technical consultation and prepare proposals in coordination with internal teams
• Understand customer specifications and recommend suitable valve solutions (control valves, safety valves, etc.)
• Prepare technical proposals, estimations, quotations, and bids in compliance with ASME, API, and industry standards
• Maintain regular customer interaction and technical support
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations
• Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and coordination with workshop/engineering teams
• Conduct site visits for installation assessment and on-site support
• Achieve assigned sales and profitability targets
• Support junior team members and colleagues as required
• Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to order closure and delivery coordination
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback for management
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• 5–10 years of experience in technical sales/business development (valve or mechanical industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge of industrial valves, pumps, pipes, fittings, and related standards
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and a strong team player
• Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office
