Description:
The Sales Executive – Building Solutions will be responsible to support and assist by calling on MEP consultants, project owners and contractors to develop specifications for building solutions and also to work with the distributors to ensure any sales opportunities that have been created are being followed up with a special focus on projects.
The Senior Sales Executive – Building Solutions key responsibilities are:
• Plan, locate and establish contacts with (new) customers.
• Obtain relevant documentation, review, prepare and propose suitable materials and quotations.
• Prepare sales quotations in line with the company pricing policy and propose recommendations to the General Manager for final approval.
• Liaise with local/regional distributors regarding different projects.
• Organize follow-up visits to consultants and contractors, report weekly in writing about sales activities, the status of pending projects and achievements.
• Join weekly internal sales meetings with colleagues to validate the sales strategy, refine tactics, exchange information and plan next actions.
Update sales forecasts on a monthly basis to ensure that inventories and capacities are adequate; review the same with the General Manager.
• Report all relevant market information collected during sales meetings concerning competition, projects and prices.
• Participate in determining sales objectives and budgets, ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded in the responsible area.
• Propose new products developments and suggest improvements whenever the opportunity arises.
• Establish friendly and professional relationships with clients. Always ensure a prompt and reliable service in the area of responsibility and contribute to the promotion of our company’s reputation and quality in the industry.
Role Profile:
Knowledge and experience requirements:
• Education: Engineering degree or Business degree with technical affinity.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales of building materials, especially in piping systems as drainage and water supply plastic
pipe (PE, PPR, PVC) systems, is essential.
• Experience in business development, sales, and project management is a must.
• Enthusiastic character with excellent presentation and communication skills.
