Senior Social Media Manager

Description:

Socialize is looking for an exceptional Social Media Manager to join our client on a 6-months basis. You'll be leading the social media team and overseeing strategy execution by the team and external agencies.

The ideal candidate will be amplifying the client’s activities and initiatives, fulfilling both brand and reputational objectives. They will be working with the marketing and communications teams to ensure the timely integration of all their outbound activities.

We're looking for a creative thinker that is innovative while being execution-oriented. They must have a demonstrable ability to drive engagement and conversion. We’re looking for someone who can build collaborative relationships with key industry leaders and internal stakeholders. You will also be overseeing the relationship with the appointed social media agency, production houses and any other framework agencies. It is important that you can understand each campaign’s objectives, define user journeys and map out content to achieve those objectives. 

We're also looking for:

• 8 + years of concentrated experience with social media channels and a deep understanding of digital marketing.

• The ability to speak/read/write Arabic and English. 

• Analytical and quantitative skills, using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.

• A deep understanding of the UAE social media scene, culture and trends.

The ideal candidate should be able to build a healthy and friendly working culture within the social media function. They must have the ability to coach and mentor the team on achieving goals and developing necessary skills that get results.
