We offer an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and inspiring Senior Technician Civil Engineering Roads and Utilities to be based in our Dubai office.

Key Qualities and Skills:

· Work closely with colleagues of various disciplines.

· you will produce and supervise coordinated 3D BIM models using Revit/Civil 3D and will also produce detailed 2D CAD general assemblies and mentor more junior CAD staff in the use of Revit/CAD.

· Produce Revit Models & CAD drawings for all stages of design, ensuring that all work complies with Meinhardt’s quality control procedures.

· Drafting and detailing of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete and structural steel for Bridges and Tunnels

· Multi-disciplinary co-ordination in 3D environment

· Implementation of all relevant codes of practice

· Ensure that Meinhardt’s drawing standards and protocols are maintained.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Proficient in MS Office Suite

· Proficient in Revit (Knowledge in Ideate BIMLink & Sticky, RTV Tools and Dynamo is a plus)

· Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D

· Knowledge in Autodesk Navisworks (Coordination and Clash Detection) is an advantage.

· Knowledge in other BIM Tools like Preparing Material take off (MTO) from 3D model.

· Preparing model families and annotation families

· Knowledge in Quantity and Data extraction (5D) using Navisworks or any relevant software.

Minimum Requirements

• Recognised diploma in an appropriate engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years post graduate experience.
• Experience and proven ability to manage a team of technicians.
• Experience of MS Office Suite of Programmes and any discipline specific software that is specific to this Middle East region.
• Comprehensive experience of technical design drawings and 3D
