Service Engineer

Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer specializing in laser devices. Based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing advanced laser and aesthetic medical devices. Other key tasks include providing technical support, conducting field service visits, and ensuring exceptional communication with medical professionals and clinic staff to address technical concerns and improve user experience.

Respond to service calls in order to perform on-site repairs.

Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical support services, such as replacing needed equipment components.

Completes service reports, weekly logs, and expense reports.

Install new equipment and devices.

Responsible for assisting in the planning and purchasing of needed equipment/spare parts.

Calibrate groups of equipment to ensure overall quality control.

Monitor the equipment to make sure that its performance is in alignment with regulatory requirements.

Engage in ongoing preventative maintenance for medical equipment.

Ensure safe and optimal performance through routine inspections and in-service training with customers.

Coordinate maintenance schedules and quality control checks.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Troubleshooting and resolving technical malfunctions of laser and aesthetic devices
• Proven experience in Field Service operations, including on-site diagnostics and support
• Strong Communication skills to effectively liaise with clinic staff and healthcare professionals
• Expertise in Technical Support, including advising on technical solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Background in Maintenance & Repair processes to ensure the optimal functionality of medical devices
• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of laser device technology and medical aesthetics is a strong advantage
• Flexibility to travel within the UAE and GCC region
