Shipping Coordinator

Description:

We are currently hiring a detail-focused and experienced Shipping Coordinator to join our operations team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in logistics coordination, particularly within the building materials industry, and will be responsible for managing both domestic and international shipment processes efficiently.

This role requires strong knowledge of shipping documentation, customs procedures, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods, especially fragile and oversized materials such as stone and tiles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee domestic and international shipments of stone and tile products

• Prepare and process Bills of Lading, packing lists, and all export/import documentation

• Handle customs clearance procedures using Dubai Trade – e-Mirsal system

• Coordinate effectively with freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal sales teams

• Ensure proper handling and safe transportation of fragile and oversized materials

• Track shipments and provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of shipping or logistics coordination experience in the UAE

• Strong understanding of Bills of Lading and e-Mirsal customs processes

• Good knowledge of UAE customs regulations and international shipping procedures

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• UAE Driving License is mandatory

• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment
