Site Accountant

Description:

We are Yas Projects LLC, a leading construction company dedicated to excellence and innovation, exceptional construction solutions. Our innovative and growing company is looking for a Site Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and financial control at the project site, ensuring accurate records, cost monitoring, and compliance with company policies and UAE regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain site-level accounting records for materials, labor, petty cash, and expenses
Record and verify daily site transactions
Monitor material consumption, GRNs, and stock movement
Manage petty cash, site advances, and expense reconciliation
Prepare weekly and monthly site expense reports
Coordinate with the Head Office for invoices, payments, and reconciliations
Track subcontractor bills, certifications, and supporting documents
Assist in site billing and cost allocation
Support VAT documentation related to site expenses (UAE VAT compliance)
Ensure proper filing of delivery notes, invoices, timesheets, and site records
Assist during internal and external audits
Coordinate closely with Project Manager, Storekeeper, and Procurement Team

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce
3–5 years of experience as a Site Accountant in the UAE
Experience working on construction project sites (mandatory)
Good understanding of construction cost control and site operations
Knowledge of UAE VAT (basic to intermediate level)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar)
Immediate availability
Valid UAE driving license (advantage)
