Antal is working with a dynamic and diversified Abudhabi based holding company that operate across the Arabian Gulf and the wider Middle East region covering various industries including property development, facilities management, hospitality, food & beverage - franchising, support services, retail, construction & engineering, oil & gas, transportation, general trading, healthcare, education, energy, communication and financial service. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Site Engineer - Civil with a strong background in building construction, including luxurious villas, palaces, or high-rise buildings to join their team in Abu Dhabi.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise construction activities on-site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth progress of work.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor work progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and quality control records.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to construction teams, resolving any technical queries or challenges that arise during construction.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and deadlines, making adjustments as necessary to mitigate delays and meet project milestones.
- Collaborate with the design team to review construction drawings, identify constructability issues, and propose solutions for efficient construction execution.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of materials, equipment, and subcontractors for construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with attested education certificate.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in building construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
