Site Engineer

Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to manage all on-site activities related to structural steel projects. The ideal candidate should ensure work quality, project progress, and safety compliance — coordinating effectively with engineering and fabrication teams.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, supervise, and execute daily site operations for steel fabrication & erection.
Review drawings, fabrication details, and material take-offs before execution.
Ensure QA/QC compliance and implement site safety standards.
Coordinate with project, QC, and production teams to resolve site issues.
Monitor manpower, equipment, and material for productivity & cost control.
Prepare site reports, daily progress updates, and work permits.
Skills & Competencies
Expertise in steel structure erection & fabrication methodology.
Strong leadership, communication, and coordination abilities.
Familiarity with welding, bolting, and alignment procedures.
Knowledge of QA/QC and safety compliance.

Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
5–8 years of GCC experience in steel structure fabrication & erection.
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project & MS Office tools.
