Solar Technical Support Engineer

Description:

This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and satisfaction of customers who use our solar inverter products. As a Technical Engineer, you will provide technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services, helping to uphold the reliability and performance of our solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance and support to customers regarding solar inverter performance, troubleshooting, and usage.

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving product-related issues reported by customers in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product development, and technical teams) to resolve complex technical issues.

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports of customer interactions, issues, and solutions provided.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives for customer service processes and product enhancements.

• Assist with customer training and education on the proper handling of solar inverters and associated systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

• 2-3 years of experience with solar PV products, inverters, and energy storage systems.

• A strong interest in PV inverters, lithium-ion battery technology, and energy storage systems.

• Basic knowledge of battery systems, charging technologies, and power electronics is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with customers and team members.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

• A customer-centric mindset with keen attention to detail.
