Sommelier

Description:

Sommelier required for luxury branded French Restaurant soon to open in Dubai. Must be French or French speaking. Nationality French or Arab

Responsibilities

• Ordering wines
• Maintaining the wine stock
• Creating a wine list and writing wine descriptions
• Suggesting food and wine pairings to servers and customers
• Recommending wines based on customer preferences
• Training waitstaff on wines

Qualifications

1. Must have WSET Certificate (Ideally Level 4)
2. Must be fluent / conversant in English, French (mandatory), other languages is a plus
3. Relevant experience in luxury branded restaurant mandatory
