Sous Chef

 

Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities & Task Knowledge:

* Assist the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, and supervising daily kitchen operations
* Prepare, cook, and present high-quality Oriental and Continental cuisine in line with approved menus and standards
* Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation
* Supervise, train, and guide kitchen staff to maintain efficiency, discipline, and teamwork
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene (HACCP), and sanitation standards
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for timely supply and proper storage
* Prepare kitchen reports, schedules, and basic system entries using computer applications
* Ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours, banquets, and special events
* Report equipment issues, maintenance needs, and operational challenges to the Head of Department

🔹 Requirements:

* Arabic speaker
* Minimum 10 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar senior hot kitchen role
* Strong hands-on experience in Oriental and Continental cuisine
* Good computer skills
* Ability to read and write in English
* Strong leadership, time management, and problem-solving skills

💰 Salary Package:

AED 8,000 – 10,000, depending on experience and qualifications
