Specification Engineer

Description:

Maico Gulf is seeking a Specification Engineer to drive product specification and vendor list approvals across UAE projects.

The role focuses on engaging consultants, architects, and MEP design firms to ensure Maico Gulf ventilation and air movement products are specified in project tenders and approved vendor lists.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Secure vendor list registrations with major consultants and developers
• Promote Maico Gulf products to MEP consultants, architects, and design engineers
• Ensure products are specified in project BOQs, technical specs, and drawings
• Monitor upcoming projects through consultants and project databases
• Track specified projects and coordinate handover to sales team
• Maintain consultant database and regular visit schedules
• Identify competitor specifications
• Provide feedback on market trends and consultant preferences
• Support product positioning strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
• 3–7 years of experience in HVAC / ventilation specification in UAE
• Strong understanding of MEP systems and ventilation standards
• Experience dealing with consultants
• Valid UAE driving license
