We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join a reputable home care centre serving clients across Dubai. The successful candidate will provide evidence-based speech and language therapy in home settings, helping clients regain or improve communication and swallowing abilities while supporting families and caregivers.
Key Details
- Position: Speech Therapist
- Salary: AED 12,000 – 15,000/month + Other Benefits
- License Requirement: DHA License or Eligibility (mandatory)
- Language Requirement: Arabic speakers mandatory
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
- Education: Degree in Speech Therapy or equivalent
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing function in home-based clients.
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each client’s needs and goals.
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions and provide practical exercises for clients and caregivers to continue between visits.
- Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Educate families and caregivers on therapy techniques, strategies, and supportive communication approaches.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, reporting any clinical concerns and ensuring continuity of care.
Candidate Requirements
- Valid DHA license or eligibility to obtain DHA registration is essential.
- Minimum 3 years of practical experience in speech therapy, preferably with home care or pediatric/adult caseloads.
- Fluent Arabic is required; strong English communication skills are also expected.
- Professional, punctual, and able to conduct home visits with sensitivity to client needs and family dynamics.
- Degree in Speech Therapy or an equivalent qualification from an accredited institution.
