Hiring SQL Database Administrator (Contractual)
Location: Dubai, UAE
Contract period – 3 to 6 months
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances and databases.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries for better efficiency.
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies
- Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
- Collaborate with developers and other IT staff to ensure database integrity and security
- Create and maintain documentation of database architecture, procedures, and policies
- Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in database administration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 4-8 years of experience in SQL Server database administration
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, design, and development
- Experience with database backup and recovery, performance tuning, and security
- Familiarity with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Availability to work on a contractual basis.
