Mechanical Site Engineer

We are seeking a Mechanical Supervision Engineer with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in the supervision of mechanical works of residential and commercial buildings.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

· Minimum 12 years’ experience in site supervision, design review, planning, project monitoring and testing & commissioning for residential and commercial building projects, villas and high-rise buildings.

· Prior experience in construction supervision of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, especially in projects with chilled water network is must.

· Strong knowledge of local and internal building codes; ASHRAE standards, DEWA regulations, Dubai Municipality (DM) regulations, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD) regulations, and NFPA codes.

· Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.

· Excellent written and oral communications skills in English.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and monitor all mechanical works to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and relevant codes.

· Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

· Coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

• UAE Society of Engineers registration (preferred)
• Authority-approved engineer (if required by project authority)At least 5 years UAE/GCC experience
• Experience on mid-rise residential or commercial buildings
