Store Keeper

Description:

NBTC Group is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Keeper for a site-based role in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing inventory and stock control for large-scale industrial or oil & gas construction projects. This role is critical in ensuring efficient material handling and supporting operational continuity at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring quality and accuracy.

• Properly document and record all receipts and issuances in the inventory management system.

• Issue materials to site construction teams based on approved material requisitions, maintaining accuracy and accountability.

• Organize, store, and label all items systematically to prevent damage or misplacement.

• Conduct periodic stock audits to identify discrepancies and ensure alignment with records.

• Maintain updated stock levels and assist in preparing stock status reports for project and procurement teams.

• Ensure adherence to proper safety, handling, and storage practices for all inventory items.

• Collaborate closely with material controllers, warehouse coordinators, and procurement departments for smooth material flow.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Store Keeper in oil & gas or industrial construction projects.

• Strong understanding of material handling procedures, stock control principles, and documentation practices.

• Familiarity with construction materials, tools, equipment, and consumables is essential.

• Basic computer literacy with hands-on experience in ERP or inventory management software (experience in SAP is highly preferred).

• Prior work experience in UAE or GCC region is advantageous.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment with high accuracy and integrity.
