Structural Engineer

Description:

We are an architectural engineering consultancy looking for an experienced, driven Structural Engineer. To ensure success, the ideal candidate should be comfortable on-site visits, and attending site meetings and inspections. (A minimum of 5 years of UAE experience is required)

Requirements:

1. Holder of Bachelor Degree in Structural Engineering

2. A member for Society of Engineer

3. DM approved license

4. Design software’s (Etabs, Safe , Sap , Tekla , Autocad)

5. Comprehensive knowledge of DM, DDA and Trakhees Standards and Specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and calculate of Concrete & Steel Structures.

• Using CAD software to create drawings that incorporate exact measurements, calculations, building codes, and other construction details.

• Preparing drawings, charts, and records with CAD equipment and conventional drafting techniques.

• Able to develop the detailed drawings.

• Coordinate with other disciplines such as Architectural & MEP to develop a compatible design.

• Issue reports, schedules, responses to technical queries, RFIs

• Review shop drawings and material submittals for compliance with project and engineering requirements.

• Being creative and innovative. Implementing advanced building technologies.

• Visiting construction sites to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.

• Collaborating with architects and construction engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.

• Obtaining, planning and/or building regulations approval

• Monitoring and inspecting work undertaken by contractors
