Student Counselor

Description:

We are looking for a friendly, motivated and customer-oriented Student Counselor to guide prospective students through the admission process, understand their educational goals and recommend suitable courses or programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding available courses and educational programmes.
• Understand students' academic backgrounds, interests and career goals.
• Provide information about course details, admission requirements and fees.
• Handle student enquiries through calls, emails and walk-ins.
• Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into enrolments.
• Assist students with application and admission procedures.
• Maintain student records and update enquiry databases.
• Coordinate with academic and admissions teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
• Previous experience in student counselling, educational consultancy or sales is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and convincing abilities.
• Good follow-up and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Valid driving licence is mandatory.
