Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning
  • Develop and maintain monthly production plans based on sales forecasts and demand
  • Prepare weekly and daily production plans, revising as required to accommodate demand fluctuations or operational constraints
  • Ensure optimal utilization of production capacity, manpower, and machinery
  • Coordinate closely with Procurement to ensure timely availability of raw dates, packing materials, and consumables
  • Monitor actual production output against approved plans and initiate corrective actions in case of deviations
  • Manage Whole Dates production planning, especially during peak seasons, to ensure continuity of supply and adherence to delivery commitments
  • Work closely with Quality Control to ensure production plans comply with quality, food safety, and certification requirements
  • Coordinate with the Sales Coordinator to ensure importer labels and any special customer requirements are met
  • Dispatch Planning
  • Prepare dispatch plans based on confirmed customer orders, priorities, and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate with Warehouse and Logistics teams for accurate picking, packing, and loading of finished goods
  • Plan and optimize weekly dispatch schedules for both local and export shipments
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, export documentation, and delivery commitments
  • Monitor dispatch performance, including on-time delivery and logistics costs
  • Resolve dispatch-related issues such as material shortages, delivery delays, or transportation constraints
  • Provide batch details to the Compliance Coordinator for Organic COI / NOP applications
  • Provide batch details to the Logistics Coordinator for land shipment documentation
  • Share batch details and cargo dimensions with the Logistics Coordinator for air freight shipments
  • Inventory Management
  • Monitor inventory levels of finished goods and packing materials
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to avoid shortages, overstocking, and wastage
  • Conduct regular inventory reviews and support periodic physical stock audits
  • Flag slow-moving or excess inventory and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders

Required QualificationsExperience & Skills

  • 5 years experience in Supply Chain Planning / Production Planning in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong understanding of production planning, dispatch planning, and inventory control
  • Experience coordinating across Sales, Procurement, QC, Warehouse, Logistics, and Production teams
  • Strong planning, reporting, and follow-up skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced factory environment and manage deadlines
