System Integration Engineer

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions while ensuring secure and reliable data movement across multiple financial and business systems. The role also involves collaborating with data engineering teams to optimize Snowflake data ingestion and integration processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze integration requirements and define data ingestion patterns into Snowflake.

• Build and support integrations with portfolio management, accounting, investment, market data, APIs, databases, file repositories, and vendor platforms.

• Design batch, scheduled, file-based, API-driven, and database integration workflows.

• Support secure connectivity, authentication, encryption, data transfer, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with Snowflake Data Engineers to validate, transform, and deliver data for downstream processing.

• Support historical data migration and backfill activities.

• Implement error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, reconciliation checks, and ingestion controls.

• Maintain data lineage, metadata, and operational documentation.

• Troubleshoot integration issues related to APIs, databases, networks, permissions, and source systems.

• Prepare integration specifications, data flow documentation, schedules, and operational runbooks.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in System Integration, Data Integration, ETL/ELT, API Integration, or Middleware.

• Experience working with financial, investment, accounting, or market data systems.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT integration processes.

    • APIs, databases, SFTP, schedulers, middleware, and data migration.

    • Security, encryption, access controls, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
