System/cloud Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Arm and support Azure environments, hybrid active directories, and Azure AD Connect.

• Make sure cloud infrastructure is reliable and has the best performance possible.

 

Email Systems Management:

• Engage with Microsoft Exchange technics (2010/2013/2016/Online) environments.

• Manage email communication platforms such as Cisco IronPort to ensure information is relayed without unnecessary risks.

 

Security & Compliance:

• Perform and define security controls and manage them (Conditional Access, MFA, ATP and email protection).

• Perform regular audits to verify the compliance with security requirements defined at the company level.

 

Disaster Recovery:

• Establish, implement and test the disaster recovery plans.

• Train staff constantly with the need for drills so that minimized downtime and speedy recovery can be achieved in the event of an incident.

 

Collaboration Tools:

• Enhance user experience when using Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and Intune services.

• Facilitate and improve security of the collaboration environments.

 

System Optimization & Troubleshooting:

• Run periodic system checks and apply updates when required.

• Monitor the performance and identify and address issues as part of the efforts to maintain seamless operations.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Education:

• Earned a bachelor’s in Information Technology (B.Tech) or its equivalent.

 

Certifications:

• Must Have: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• Nice to Have: Other cloud security or other enterprise IT certifications (M365, Cisco, or Veritas).

 

Skills & Expertise:

• Datacenter technologies

• IT infrastructure development

• Cisco switching and networks experience

• Cyber security tools implementation level skills

• Systems Administration on private and hybrid cloud environments

• BOQ preparations

• Technical documentation preparation

• Must have skills and experience in M365 applications

 

Who You Are:

• At least 5 years’ experience in system/cloud engineering.

• Has experience handling big migrations and implementing security measures.

• Possess analytical and strong reasoning ability.

• Excellent English communication. Arabic added advantage.
