Tax Accountant

Hotaru Holdings is hiring a Tax Accountant / Auditor to strengthen its Accounts & Finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance while supporting internal audit activities across multiple business entities.

This role involves overseeing VAT and corporate tax compliance, reviewing financial transactions, and assisting with the implementation of UAE e-invoicing requirements. It is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong auditing and taxation knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Review sales, cash transactions, and operational expenses for accuracy.

• Perform internal audit activities across multiple business locations.

• Assist in preparing the organization for UAE e-invoicing implementation.

• Prepare tax-related reports and support financial compliance activities.

Requirements:

• Experience in taxation, auditing, or financial accounting is preferred.

• Strong understanding of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.

• Ability to analyze financial records with high accuracy.

• Excellent reporting, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance

    • Internal auditing and financial reporting

    • UAE e-invoicing requirements and accounting controls
