Technical Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Assistant Office/Technical Engineer with extensive experience in Dubai infrastructure projects, especially in both wet and dry utilities. The right candidate will be well-versed in the standards and procedures of local authorities (RTA, DEWA, DM) and have proven experience in utility coordination, diversions, and liaison with relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Utilities Engineer and Project Manager in planning, coordinating and executing utility works.
• Liaise with authorities such as RTA, DEWA, DM, Etisalat, DU, etc., to obtain approvals and NOCs.
• Review utility design and shop drawings to verify compliance with project specifications and authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit progress reports and maintain accurate project documentation.
• Provide technical support to site teams on layout coordination, utility diversions, and resolving technical issues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years’ practical experience on infrastructure utility projects in Dubai.
• Strong knowledge of wet and dry utility networks, authority submissions, and diversion procedures.
• Excellent coordination skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and external authorities.
