Technical Sales Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Engineer to join our team in the UAE, specializing in steel machinery sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in steel machinery like CNC, Welding Technologies, Piping technologies etc., with excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of sales in a highly competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Promote and sell steel machinery and equipment brands to new and existing clients across various industries.

· Provide technical support and consultation to clients, understanding their specific needs and offering tailored solutions.

· Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and quotations.

· Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure products meet customer specifications.

· Identify and generate new business opportunities in the steel industry.

· Manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing.

· Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

· Provide after-sales support and resolve any technical issues that arise post-sales.

· Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in steel machinery.

· Achieving the set sales targets

· Willingness to travel to entire GCC countries.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

· Proven minimum 2-3 years of experience in technical sales, specifically within the steel machinery or industrial equipment sector.

· Should have technical knowledge of steel machinery, processes, and applications.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM software experience is a plus.

· Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

· Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel as required.
