Thermal Dynamic Process Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Thermal Dynamics Process Engineer to support the design, analysis, and optimization of thermal heating systems across a wide range of industrial applications. The successful candidate will apply expertise in thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer to develop innovative and efficient solutions in line with project requirements, safety standards, and cost targets.

This role is ideal for engineers with a strong technical background and a passion for thermal system performance, energy efficiency, and real-world application of process engineering principles.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze and design thermal systems including heat exchangers, heaters, combustion systems, and thermal fluid circuits

Perform detailed thermal and fluid flow calculations, system simulations, and energy balance evaluations

Size and select equipment: pressure safety valves (PSVs), pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, control valves, and process piping

Develop and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow diagrams (PFDs)

Prepare and maintain project documentation such as:

· Process data sheets

· Equipment and instrumentation data sheets

· Utility consumption and load lists

· P&ID

Support the development of control strategies and instrumentation layouts for thermal systems

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Design, Electrical, Controls, and Sales

Participate in design reviews, project meetings, HAZOPs, and client presentations

Provide technical support during system fabrication, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering tools, design standards, and thermal performance models

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech./B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Master’s degree in Thermal Sciences or Energy Engineering is a plus

Experience

5+ years of process engineering or thermal system design experience

Experience in industrial heating, power generation, thermal fluid systems, or related fields preferred
