Time Keeper

 

Description:

This is a full-time role for a Time Keeper, located on-site in Dubai. The Time Keeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate time records for employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations, and assisting in payroll processing. Day-to-day tasks include tracking attendance, recording hours worked, preparing reports, and addressing any discrepancies. The Time Keeper will also liaise with HR and management to resolve issues related to timekeeping and employee attendance.

 

Duties:

· Record daily attendance and work hours of all site teams.

· Maintain accurate timesheets and submit reports to the HR Lead.

· Coordinate with supervisors to verify attendance and resolve discrepancies.

· Monitor overtime and ensure proper documentation and approvals.

· Prepare and submit weekly and monthly timekeeping reports.

· Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and company policies.

· Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate time data.

· Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.

· Arrange Transportation for the site workers.

· Handle site injury cases and reports to the HR Team.

· Manage supplier employee’s timesheet and sites in/out timings.

· Coordinate with site supervisors and foremen to track workforce allocation and productivity.

· Maintain proper filing of all timekeeping records for audit and reference.

· Track and record the daily usage, operating hours, and availability of machinery and equipment at site.

· Coordinate with site engineers and equipment operators to log machinery allocation and performance.

· Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly manpower and machinery utilization reports.

· Issue Gate Passes and Movement Permits for personnel and materials as required by site security protocols.

· Record daily usage hours for all plant machinery and equipment on site (e.g., excavators, cranes, bulldozers, generators, concrete pumps).

· Monitor and record fuel consumption for machinery and reconcile it with operational hours.

  • Proficiency in using timekeeping software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in the construction industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in HR or administration are beneficial
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with UAE labor laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office and timekeeping software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
